KCSN is now a registered charity with the Kiltwalk, a unique way to raise funds for a charity or cause you care about. The Kiltwalk events are a powerful fundraising platform for Scotland’s charities with an incredible 150% of every penny raised going to your selected charity.
Each year thousands of walkers come together at Kiltwalk events all over Scotland, have an unforgettable day out and change lives. If you choose to walk for KCSN, every penny you raise, plus the 50% top up, will come straight to the KCSN, helping to support kidney cancer patients in Scotland. If you are unsure which charity to walk for and choose Kiltwalk, every penny you raise, plus a donation from The Hunter Foundation, will be donated to the STV Children’s Appeal, who will distribute it to projects helping children all over Scotland.
In the past, the Kiltwalk has acted as a fundraising vehicle exclusively for children’s charities in Scotland. Now walkers are able to fundraise for any charity in Scotland.
Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Glasgow Kiltwalk on 26 April and the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on 7 June have been postponed. The Dundee Kiltwalk will now take place on 3-5 July, but virtually. Visit the Kiltwalk website for more information.
The Kiltwalk event being held in Edinburgh on 13 September is still going ahead. Visit the Kiltwalk website for information about events and how to register to take part.
